熱心な学生？

Hey, why I so strict when it comes to learning Japanese? 

Nothing changed during that time, but I forgot the reason for like 2 years.
I remember thinking about this and telling to myself that the more I study now, the less I'll have to study when I have a job USING JAPANESE. onsidering that knowing a language is a skill that needs practice and constant stimulus and there is ALWAYS something you don't know, you have to study it like forever (if you're like me, someone who wants to ace in everything one likes and wants to know every single word).

*study as in watching TV, newspapers, music and other media, you know, real Japanese.

When I get a job I want to devote 100% of myself to it, I cannot waste time studying. this is the mindset I had when I started studying Japanese for real.

Now!, besides studying the language of course, I want to continue studying japanese culture, I've come to love studying it ever since I started feeling the need to really understand the japanese people. I now understand why some foreigners leave Japan hating it. They knew nothing about the Japanese culture! They probably had a culture shock and were not able to cope with it so they opted for the easiest way. Giving up.
You, the reader, you might think that I know a lot (like, you know, I'm here criticizing other foreigners and I only talk about Japan etc) but truth is I don't. BUT I want to and I think I will.

TO DO LIST

Here's an example from a day's "to do list":

- reps (throughout the day, 1min timeboxes)
- new vocab
- grammar review (cards)
- movie/drama
- 2 walks (45m+1h)
- twitter (articles on random themes, mostly Japan)
- twitter (読解）
- Reading (either english, japanese or portuguese, but I get bored easily unless its related to japonology)

(not necessarily in this order, I only watch movies/drama at night for instance)

when I'm in Japan it will change considerably considering that I'm going to have classes and friends and will want to experience Japan and japanese people as much as possible.

But I can make a prediction of my future mornings already:

6:00 shower
6:30 reps
7:00-8:30 breakfast + twitter
9:00 - 16.30h classes

statistics problem

My computer froze yesterday and my srs somehow made some kind of reset, fortunately I kept all my work (started in March 2010) but my statistics will start as if I started yesterday, therefore I will not post statistics for a while.

Still having some problems, somehow I'm not being able to sync. I changed the names of my decks in order to sync them and like have a new name for them (日本語, 中国語, 敬語, ポルトガル語・英語, 関西弁) but still couldn't sync.

最初のモチベーションの一つ

日本語を勉強する前に、日本語の勉強の仕方を勉強したときに、下記のポストを見て、モチベーションが上がりました。
今でも覚えている。懐かしいなあ。

genki 1+2 and an integrated approach, kanzen master 1+2, rtk1+2, a pocket pc loaded with stackz and jlpt lists and watching a lot of japanese tv shows (bittorrent) worked for me. imo, japanese is a really simple language and easy to learn."

Pokemon Radio Show! ロケット団ひみつ帝国

テレビアニメ『ポケットモンスター』シリーズに登場する組織「ロケット団」のボスであるサカキの野望・世界征服をかなえるため、団員であるムサシ（声 - 林原めぐみ）・コジロウ（声 - 三木眞一郎）・ニャース（声 - 犬山イヌコ）の3人が、「全世界70億人をロケット団員の一員にすること」を目的としたという設定のラジオ番組である。
番組放送開始の発表に先行する6月2日に、Twitterの公式アカウントが開設されている。
『ポケットモンスター』シリーズの音響監督である三間雅文の発案であるとともに、構想に1年半かかったとのこと。また、三間は構成も担当する。
一般的なラジオ番組と同じく合間にはコマーシャルが挟まれ、そのナレーションは『ポケットモンスター ベストウイッシュ』に登場したサブウェイマスターのノボリ（声 - 佐藤健輔）とクダリ（声 - 古島清孝）が務めている。Twitterの公式アカウントでは、この2人がなにかしらラジオに関わるかのような事をほのめかす呟きがあった。なお、このコマーシャルはアニメイトTV・あにてれ・キッズステーションでのネット配信版ではカットされている。

文法の勉強

「なんで日本語を勉強し始めたの？」

長く言うと、

２００９年の初めに文法や漢字 を普通に勉強し始めたが、難しすぎて辞めました。当年の４月に「Ｒｅｍｅｍｂｅｒｉｎｇ　ｔｈｅ　ｋａｎｊｉ」という本を買いました。この本は人にどんな 風に漢字が覚えられることを教えています。この漢字の覚え方を説明するのは説明しづらいと思いますが、簡単に短く言うと・・・いろいろ部首があるでしょ。 その部首にまず何かイメージやキャラクタをあげることです。たとえば、「糸」は私にとって、スパイダーマンです。

４ 月には漢字の勉強が始まったが、やっぱり高校の最後の試験の勉強をしなきゃいけなかったので、また辞めました。で、夏休みに、胸を張って、本当にまじめ に、漢字の勉強を始めたのです。３ヶ月もかかりました。けど、９月に大学に入る前の１週間に終わりました。２０４８個漢字が書けました。信じられなかった のです。ヤバイ！

で、2009年の９月に大学でのクラスが始まったのです。ここで文法などをまじめに勉強し始めました。中国語の勉強も始まった。

「じゃ、日本語と中国語はどっちが難しい？」
 中国語。発音はすごい難しいの。それに、漢字は醜いし。


「今は何個の漢字ができるの？」
全然わからない、本当は。


「気合を入れるのには？」
なんかね。好きな歌手のビデオ（歌うのじゃなくて）、ドラマ、とか。それにまだたくさんのことを勉強しなければならないのだから・・・・ね。ほかに、日本語を使う仕事とを目標として、今は勉強しています。
９月９日にポルトガルを出て、日本へ行くかもしれないから、それも大モチベーション。

「何になりたい？」
自分のスキルを使う仕事。具体的に言えば、いろんなことしたいのね。通訳、翻訳、日本学、経営。なんでもしたい。

「 影響を与えたものは？」
先生、日本人、浜崎あゆみ、日本語を勉強している方。
夢、日本語の美しさや複雑さ。

「じゃ、夢って？」
仕事。日本へ行くこと。日本語が話せること。自分のうちとその中に猫2匹、犬１匹。動物の保護施設もたぶん・・・・

龍大学に行くことは、実は、なんか、わくわくしてるんだ。おととい、大学からの返事がまた来なくて、私すごい怖くなっちゃって、頭が痛くなっちゃって、気分が超悪かった。けど、昨日は返事が来て、いろいろな準備をしてて・・・・行きたい！
